Family Photos in San Diego

I was recently hired to photograph a family in San Diego. The family consisted of a recently married couple and their beautiful daughter, Sally the beagle. The city of San Diego is huge and there is a plethora of places to photograph clients. I decided to take these family photos at Balboa Park in San Diego. Family photos in Balboa Park are incredibly fun as there is always so much happening in this area.

Balboa Park in San Diego is a photographer’s dream. This park is known for its rich history, beautiful architecture, and surrounding gardens. The park offers a wide variety of picturesque spots for family portraits. Whether you’re looking for lush greenery, historic structures, or scenic views, Balboa Park has something to offer every family. During this photoshoot, we explored several iconic locations within the park.

My biggest tips of advice if you are going to take family pictures in San Diego’s Balboa Park is to be ready for crows. This place is a major tourist attraction, and with the San Diego Zoo right around the corner you can expect to see LOTS of people here. Have patience and have fun when you’re here!
